Media Market
Each of the Wolfpack's 23 teams receive national, regional and/or local media exposure on almost a daily basis. At NC State, that exposure is seen as both a privilege and a responsibility, as each interview gives the individual student-athlete a chance to represent their university and team.

NC State University is located in one of the top 25 television markets in the nation. Several regional newspapers have a beat writer assigned to cover the Wolfpack, while television stations from four networks (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC) as well as a 24-hour news channel (Time Warner Cables News) are located in the triangle.

    • In recent years, NC State has hosted "ESPN College Gameday" for both football and men's basketball.

    • When not picked up on national or regional television, many NC State home sporting events are broadcast on's All-Access, a digital platform on NC State's official athletics website.

    • The ACC has more total television households and more wired television households than all the other power five conferences, including twice as many as the Pac-12 and three times as many as the Big 12.
